Dirt Tracks and Freestyle Parks
BMX riding splits into two main styles, and our pictures cover both. In the racing section, you will see riders navigating dirt tracks with steep berms, rhythm sections, and rollers in the outdoors. This is a fast-paced sport that requires intense pedaling and bike control.
The other side of the sport is freestyle. Riders use skateparks, street obstacles, or massive dirt jumps to perform tricks. You can color a rider doing a tailwhip, where the bike frame spins a full 360 degrees around the front end, or a superman stunt where the rider extends their body completely straight mid-air.
Customizing Your BMX Bike
A BMX bicycle is built differently than a standard bicycle or those used for mountain biking. They have smaller, rigid frames, twenty-inch wheels, and wide handlebars for better control during jumps and sharp turns.
When coloring the close-ups of the handlebars and workshop stands, you can design your own custom color scheme. Many riders use bright neon grips, colored spokes, and contrasting frames to stand out at the skatepark. Do not forget to color the safety gear. Every rider needs a solid helmet, knee pads, and sturdy flat-soled shoes to grip the pedals securely.
