Choosing Colors for Your Chameleon
Chameleons are famous for changing their skin color to communicate and regulate their body temperature. When coloring a lizard like the veiled chameleon, you can use bright greens, vibrant turquoises, and warm yellows. For the realistic chameleon drawings, try blending colored pencils to create smooth transitions between scales. You can also add dark bands or spots, which these reptiles often show when they are stressed or trying to absorb heat.
Unique Reptile Features
