Celebrating Representation in Holiday Art
Finding holiday activities that reflect diverse families helps children feel seen during the festive season. These pages feature inclusive holiday art, giving kids the chance to color a Santa who looks like them or their family members. From a jolly St. Nick reading letters to sharing a warm hug, these designs bring meaningful representation to your Christmas crafts.
Coloring Tips for Skin Tones and Textures
When coloring these portraits, you can experiment with different complexion markers or colored pencils to create rich, warm skin tones. Layering browns, deep peaches, and subtle reds adds dimension to Santa's face. For his iconic suit and the fluffy white trim, try adding light blue or gray shading to make the white areas pop against the red fabric. The gift delivery scenes also offer great opportunities to play with glowing night skies and twinkling stars.
